Xiaomi, what can we say? The first T series, 9T is ALMOST perfect, it just lacked the OIS. The 10T, you changed the screen with IPS, lost the telephoto lens, made it much bigger (165cm tall), lost again. 11T, you lose the OIS, you changed the screen back to AMOLED, reduce the ultrawide, you lost again. Now 12T has OIS again, changed the metal frame with plastic, still lacks the telephoto lens, and the same worse 8MP ultra wide angle. Four iterations and nothing is done right!
‘None is right for me’ and ‘not for me’ is pretty conclusive, really. Don’t go looking for jobs as pollsters anytime soon.
Android Freak, 1 hour agoThe phone is good, but not at that price. Xiaomi should have priced it aggressively. At $550 max. … plusHowever, the prices you mentioned don’t apply everywhere, so don’t assume the 12T series is “not worth it” for everyone. The 12T 8/256 costs $422 in Malaysia and neighboring countries, so it’s still a good option there. 12T Pro 8/256 costs $570.
I read how some people here keep saying that it is better to get Iphone and Samsung. Well, when even the cheapest Iphone 14 128 is $887 and S22 128 is US$739, you can see why Xiaomi is so popular in these countries.
Anonymous, 2 hours agoI have the 12t pro. There is no better phone in this price range. Certified low-fatigue screen… plusThe phone is good, but not at that price. Xiaomi should have priced it aggressively. At $550 max. Prices will drop like crazy by the end of the year.
Onanymaus, 4 hours agoI knew that there will be someone repeating the same old myth that all Xiaomi phones must have… plusBut this phone is not worth its asking price. At 550-600 USD it was a good choice. Xiaomi is not worth those $800-1200 USD tags except for this year’s Ultra. They have done fantastic work for Ultra. I am waiting for Oppo Find X6 Pro and Xiaomi 13 Ultra next year.
Anonymous, 3 hours agoSame point with iOS where there is literally not a single ad on your main system and some dumb… plusOkay, let’s do a fact check. What Mi models have you used that have ads? IOS has announcements now and is widely reported by users and tech reviewers including GSMarena. Personal experience, my wife’s 11 Pro Max started showing ads in the App Store and News conveniently displaying “recommendations” for things related to what she searched for in Safari.
LV426, 5 hours agoWhy should I buy this junk? Bad battery life, no ltpo screen, bad cameras…Main important thing. It should have cost only 500 USD. The price is ridiculously high.
Marina23, 2 hours agoonly true IM users know that it is worth every penny. And everything you said is true. ME… plusIt won’t last more than 2 years unless you’ve bought one of their 2018 phones and the rest. Now they don’t care about quality.
Security is the cost you pay. Because, honestly, Xiaomi and Security do not go hand in hand. The hardware is amazing at this price, but the software really breaks my heart.

And everything you said is true.
I even have MI 10, such a lovely device
Using it for more than 1 year.
Once you use MI, there are no other brands to go…
I always love ME ❤️❤️❤️
Anonymous, 3 hours agoSame point with iOS where there is literally not a single ad on your main system and some dumb… plusThings have changed a lot bruhhhh😉😉
You never used MI to the core….you just hit unwanted nonsense…
I am using MI 10 and I have no ads of any kind.
And if you know what you want and how you want
Then you won’t ignore ME for sure.
Nothing can beat MI on custom roms. And your comment is so boring, it’s been years and you keep saying ads.
Throw your brain 😂😂😂😂😂…..
Who cares that the iPhone is expensive and it is their duty to provide everything first class.
So don’t judge ME without meeting you pig 🧐🧐
I have the 12t pro. There is no better phone in this price range. Low fatigue certified screen, very good battery life, very good main camera that can also take good pictures with zoom. Smooth, fast and reliable. Debloating is easy if you are smart, everything can be uninstalled, this phone is not for iOS users or Samsung users. It was worth every penny. Much better than Samsung’s crap that’s slow and overheating or shuttered iOS phones.
Why do I want to buy the Poco X4 GT that has built-in ads when there are none on the 12T?
Phones are getting old and boring. It’s just a game of throwing big numbers, especially with these Android phones. Apple is overpriced and also introduces features slowly, but they are always something interesting, while with Android phones it always increases the number that existed before. everything is alone,
More RAM, GB, megapixels, etc. Bored. No innovation at all
Onanymaus, 4 hours agoI knew that there will be someone repeating the same old myth that all Xiaomi phones must have… plusSame point with iOS where there is literally not a single ad on its main system and some silly iAndroid fanatics claimed that there is. In all these years using iPhone, I never saw any ads on iPhone system unlike MIUI. I used Xiaomi phones before, like 5 of them from Mi series to Redmi Note 🤦🏻♂️
Ok, 4 hours agoWhy buy a device with bloatware and adware at this price? Xiaomi is only good at 200-400$… plusYou can get rid of all MIUI bloatware and ads with a program called “Universal Android Debloater GUI”, or the older one, “Xiaomi ADB/Fastboot Tools”, find them on GitHub. I did and even made my Xiaomi and friends phones work better (and obviously improved battery life).
They are too expensive for their price.
Remember my 9t, 10t with a metal frame?
Ok, 4 hours agoWhy buy a device with bloatware and adware at this price? Xiaomi is only good at 200-400$… plusI knew that there will be someone repeating the same old myth that all Xiaomi phones must have ads. The 12T series, like all of Xiaomi’s main lineup, is ad-free and the GSMarena team confirmed this in their reviews. About bloatware, well, if $1000 Samsung phones have bloatware, why are you complaining about bloatware on $500 phones that can be uninstalled anyway?
