This is data from counterpoint research, not Apple 😂 Apple has literally never bragged about its phone sales in the way you just mentioned.
-Trix-, 1 hour ago“I don’t know of any other brand that always brags about being in the best-selling models or something like that.” … plusWell that’s what Apple always has this news every end of the year when a new model comes out for a month so they brag about the good sales numbers of the old model because the price has come down to a point where the people can afford to buy it. It’s basically the same thing when Hugo Boss brags about selling fabric in a thrift store.

I bought Xiaomi phones three times, I think they are not that bad.
Updating is a big deal, but Android can live without it long enough.
Some features, like scheduling the phone on and off, came in handy when the battery is low and the alarm goes off to wake me up in the morning.

Who else has been the best seller? I mean what could you brag about? 😂 since I remember, Apple every year has the best selling phone in the world
Apple hit its all-time high share of 5% of the Indian smartphone market during the quarter fueled by strong channel momentum ahead of the festive season. The iPhone 13 became the first iPhone to surpass overall smartphone shipments in India in a quarter. In the premium segment (>INR 30,000), Apple led smartphone shipments, capturing a 40% share. ”
I don’t know of any other brand that always brags about being in the top selling models or anything like that.
What is the total number of models sold of some 1 year old models of any brand from India or China? Apple is comparing the market to last year’s model and not to the 14 series release and I bet each model in that research has at most half a year to compare it to
Apple has worked hard in India to get people to buy iPhone and like this article and many others recently show that it is starting to pay off!
DaFink, 2 hours agoFor pranks, people can simply read your clever comment attempts. The iPhone 13 is the best… plusWhat is a fact? We don’t see actual numbers or which category sold the most. If it’s the flagship category, sure who cares. American companies do a lot of market advertising with top sellers or best of most or first time, and so on. No numbers or anything are shown in the article to judge if it is fake news or not. Phones were also sold to customers or purchased from stores.
Also, not only American companies, but all companies in the world like to play with numbers and then manipulate these numbers to make them look good on some scale that favors them more.
But I guess you know how the comments section works on this site.
Kind of sad how some people act here.

The iPhone 13 is the best-selling model, that’s a fact, whether it shoots you or not. Or do you think the article is invented to annoy you?

When the 12 note explorer is launched in India, most people will forget about other brands,
