Samsung executives are confident that Apple will launch its first foldable device in 2024

AlienKiss, 11 hours agoWhat are you talking about ? Samsung Flip 4 = €816 Motorola Razr 2022 = €1225 They have storage… plusMaybe I should get a math lesson from you. When is 1.5 times the price approximately becomes twice when prices are that high? I get that you may have a soft spot for Samsung, but that doesn’t change the fact that it can slaughter math.

In addition, the prices of Samsung covers have decreased only in some countries. So going by your comment that prices have also dropped only after almost two months of launching the phones (and it’s not black friday or a boxing day sale price), it means that phone sales haven’t been doing so well. as expected and try to sell as many phones as possible to show a mere percentage on the folding sales chart and brag about it even though they didn’t do well. Honestly, I haven’t seen Samsung drop the prices of its flagship phones this fast in a long time.

Let’s hope Apple offers some good competition in the foldable segment and see if this pushes other phone makers to work a little harder to innovate.

Anonymous, 7 hours agoOutside China, foldables from xiaomi, oppo and vivo would cost more than z fold. Pointless to be… plusMan, they will be more expensive, but maybe by 10% or 100 euros no more, which means they are still much cheaper than Samsung.

AlienKiss, 11 hours agoWhat are you talking about ? Samsung Flip 4 = €816 Motorola Razr 2022 = €1225 They have storage… plusThe Z Flip 4 256GB costs €1,159.

You compared the newly released 256GB moto to the earlier 128GB Z flip 4, not the 256GB version. They still give the same specs for what they are though, a slight difference on the Moto, its USB-C port can read the Samsung T7 SSD, the Samsung Flip can’t.

either

Eww, even if it had top specs for foldables, I wouldn’t mind. iOS just sucks for being too restrictive and too simplistic. android all the way baby

Man yeah you’re right I don’t have creases or flips and I will never have them like this all day because creases are too fragile for me.

But if you compare both phones, I mean Motorola and Samsung Flip.
and Xiaomi and Samsung Fold, even a half blind person sees that it becomes a more compact device with better battery much faster charging much more endurance much better camera and screen and other much better specs for 30% cheaper price compared to Samsung Fold and Flip.
It doesn’t even take a genius to see that.

In the case of xiaomi, the fold is much lighter, thinner and with much more battery and faster charging. This alone is a good reason to skip the Samsung fold.
On top of that, in the case of Motorola, the customer gets a pure Android experience, excluding Samsung, usually a heavy skin full of outdated and useless bloatware.

CptPower, 12 hours agoMan yes you are right most people 80% USE SAMSUNG FOLDINGS. But that 20% makes folding… plusOutside China, foldables from xiaomi, oppo and vivo would cost more than z fold.
It doesn’t make sense to be cheaper to do.

Wow! Folding in 2024? That’s already the end of the world!…and when this time comes, I’m sure Apple fans will find it amazing and revolutionary…LOL!

Samsung Flip 4 = €816
Motorola Razr 2022 = €1225
They have nearly identical specs, but Motorola costs nearly double the Flip 4’s retail price. The difference is €409. Put €200 more and get 2 Flip 4.
What do you have to say now?

Samsung user, Nov 04, 2022More than 80% of foldable phone consumers use the Galaxy Z series. Do they really need a foldable… plusMan yes you are right most people 80% USE SAMSUNG FOLDINGS.
But that 20% makes folding ones much cheaper and much better.
Comparison of specifications and price of Motorola Razr and Samsung Flip. Motorola is a very easy winner.
Comparing Samsung fold and Xiaomi fold. Xiaomi is a very easy winner because in both attempts, the Motorola Razr and Xiaomi fold user gets a much better device with much more specifications for much less money.
It’s as simple as that.

Death Duck, Nov 04, 2022I have had three generations of the Flip. The first one certainly felt fragile at first… plusGood joke man.
Even Zac Nelson, aka Jerryrige, all that has been proven is that Samsung foldables can be scratched by fingernails.
If your device isn’t damaged it’s because it’s been sitting on your desk since you bought it and you never opened that box and no earthquake ruined your house.
There is no other explanation for this.

No. I’m talking about REAL innovation.

Most China-based brands like Apple are notorious for it.Like when Apple does something and with the next phone or OS version Samsung has the same thing? They have done it so many times. I mean, let’s not forget that Samsung is the company that actually had to pay for Apple to copy them 😂

But Apple always does that: wait until others spend time and money on R&D, then pick it up when the technology is refined and sell it as its own…

We can spoof iPhones and iOS as much as we want, but in terms of marketing and putting things on the devices, Apple is the master in this game, as no one cares who made the technology, who was the first, or for how long others they had it As for Apple making an announcement about it, people will think that Apple did it.

It was made in 2014. Iphone 6+.
Super high-tech, foldable without the need for a folding screen.
Far ahead of current technology.
