What: Vancouver Christmas Market is transforming Jack Poole Plaza into one big German-style Christmas event.

What: Arts Club Theater presents the timeless classic by Rodgers and Hammerstein The sound of the music for the holiday season. Follow the journey of Maria and the von Trapp family and listen to beloved songs like “My Favorite Things,” “Do-Re-Mi,” and “Edelweiss.” The show promises to be a family favorite, whether it’s the first time or the hundredth time you’ve enjoyed the story.

What: The pathways and trees of one of Surrey’s most popular parks will be illuminated for the 10th annual Bear Creek Lights. This year features a reimagined exhibit with light displays showcasing the natural beauty of the park. Bear Creek Lights is a family event and free tickets can be reserved online for the one-kilometer garden walk circuit.

What: A Vancouver tradition for nearly 50 years, Circle Craft features a wide variety of makers, makers and artists. You can find clothing designers, potters, jewelers, metal and wood workers, glass blowers, and candle and soap makers, just to name a few.

What: The first Hypeflea, presented by The Granville Flea and #NFS/Heat Vault, will take place at Fortune Sound Club and the all-ages event is the perfect place to find your latest fit.

What: The 12th annual Zee Zee Theater Community Storytelling Project focuses on stories from LGBTQS+ voices. Attendees are invited to have a candid 20-minute conversation with a Rainbow Elder, who will share real stories while breaking down stereotypes and preconceived notions of otherness.
The Rainbow Elders & Allies Collection is produced by Jordy Matheson and curated by Alysha Collie, Allan Morgan, Melanie Ray and Dallas Yellowfly.

What: The Victory Square Remembrance Day Service is the oldest continuous annual ceremony in Vancouver, beginning in 1924. This ceremony includes the Last Message, Lament, Changing of the Guard, Wreath-laying, Veterans Parade and more to honor our veterans.

What: the inaugurationpresented by Empire Boxing Companies, will take place on November 12 at the Grand Villa Casino. What: Little Chamber Music and Mountain View Cemetery host Remembered Aloud, a Remembrance Day event at the Abray South Field of Honor.
At 11 a.m., a bell will ring 11 times, followed by two minutes of silence. Then, 11 brass musicians and intimate music singers, the Vancouver Bach Choir and the Vancouver Youth Choir will perform a Memory Phrase together.

What: Head to the fourth floor of the Rosewood Hotel and step into a magical winter oasis. Thoughts: The Winter Terrace has a seasonal menu and festive drinks, a real treat for your palate.
It’s worth noting that while the seasonal outdoor space opens on November 1, the hotel has shared that the full Christmas decorations won’t be on display until November 12.
